Introduction
Gtk+ Hack is a graphical front-end for the roguelike game NetHack and its variants based on Gtk+ 2.x. It supports playing on a local machine as well as connecting to a remote server over the internet.
Gtk+ Hack has its origins in the JNetHack project before being incorporated into Slash'EM. I am in the process of unbundling Gtk+ Hack from Slash'EM. In the meantime, please use Gtk+ Slash'EM (binaries are available for MS-Windows and Fedora Core 3). These binaries need the relevant core Slash'EM binary package to run:
- MS-Windows
- Gtk+ Slash'EM version 0.0.7E7
- Slash'EM core version 0.0.7E7
- Gtk+ version 2.4
- Note: The version of the GTK interface included in Slash'EM 0.0.7E7 reveals a bug in Gtk+ version 2.2 so this is no longer recommended.
- Fedora Core 3
